These Terms and Conditions apply to all purchases, bookings, events, workshops, trainings, private sessions, mentoring, online programs, memberships, payment plans, products, digital resources, and services provided by Sanctuary of Self.By using this website, making a purchase, booking a session, attending an event, entering into a payment plan, or engaging with Sanctuary of Self in any way, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.Please read these Terms carefully before purchasing or booking.

2. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable legislation. Where you are entitled to a remedy under Australian Consumer Law, Sanctuary of Self will provide the remedy required by law. Subject to your rights under Australian Consumer Law, Sanctuary of Self does not provide refunds, credits, exchanges, or transfers for change of mind.

3. Age Requirement

All Sanctuary of Self services, events, trainings, workshops, private sessions, intimate products, Tantra-related offerings, and adult education spaces are for people aged 18 years and over. By purchasing from or working with Sanctuary of Self, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.

4. Scope of Services

Sanctuary of Self provides education, mentoring, personal development, Tantra education, self-mastery practices, embodiment practices, spiritual education, and energetic support. Unless otherwise stated, Sanctuary of Self does not provide medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal, financial, crisis, or emergency services. Our work is not a substitute for professional medical care, mental health care, counselling, crisis support, legal advice, financial advice, or emergency support. You are responsible for seeking appropriate professional support where required.

5. Personal Responsibility

By engaging with Sanctuary of Self, you acknowledge that your results, experiences, insights, growth, transformation, healing, integration, and outcomes are personal and individual. Sanctuary of Self does not guarantee any specific result, outcome, transformation, financial result, relationship change, emotional shift, spiritual experience, personal breakthrough, or healing outcome. You are responsible for your own choices, actions, wellbeing, attendance, communication, integration, and participation.

6. Professional Boundaries and Non-Sexual Services

Sanctuary of Self may offer Tantra education, intimacy education, embodiment practices, sensuality-related teachings, self-mastery practices, and body-based learning. All services are professional, educational, therapeutic, spiritual, and/or personal-development based. Sanctuary of Self does not provide sexual services. No service offered by Sanctuary of Self includes sexual intercourse, sexual gratification, sexual performance, sexual release, or any form of sexual service. Any sexualised behaviour, request for sexual services, inappropriate touch, coercion, harassment, boundary violation, unsafe conduct, or disrespectful behaviour may result in immediate termination of the session, removal from the event, training, or program, refusal of future service, and forfeiture of fees paid. Sanctuary of Self reserves the right to refuse service to any person who breaches professional boundaries or behaves in a way that is unsafe, inappropriate, or misaligned with the nature of our work.

7. Respectful Conduct

Sanctuary of Self is committed to providing a safe, respectful, trauma-aware, and professional environment. You agree to communicate respectfully with Sanctuary of Self, its teachers, facilitators, practitioners, contractors, team members, and other participants. Sanctuary of Self reserves the right to refuse service, pause communication, remove a participant from an event, terminate a session, cancel access, or end a client relationship where a person behaves in a way that is aggressive, abusive, unsafe, threatening, harassing, sexually inappropriate, discriminatory, manipulative, defamatory, repeatedly unclear, excessive, or otherwise harmful. In such circumstances, no refund will be provided except where required by law.

8. Client Communication

All client communication must be respectful, clear, and kept to the agreed communication channel where possible. Sanctuary of Self may request that communication remain in one place, such as email, for clarity, record-keeping, and professional boundaries. Sanctuary of Self is not responsible for managing scattered communication across multiple platforms, including but not limited to text message, social media, email, voice messages, or verbal conversations. Where communication becomes abusive, excessive, threatening, manipulative, defamatory, inappropriate, or repeatedly unclear, Sanctuary of Self may pause or end the client relationship.

9. Bookings

Bookings are confirmed once payment, deposit, or an approved online payment plan has been received. Sanctuary of Self is not required to hold a place, session time, event ticket, training position, or service booking without payment.It is your responsibility to ensure that your booking details, contact information, and payment information are correct at the time of purchase.

10. Pricing

All prices are listed in Australian dollars unless otherwise stated. Prices may change at any time without notice.Once you have purchased, the price at the time of purchase applies to your booking, unless otherwise agreed in writing.If a price increase occurs after you have cancelled, withdrawn, paused, or failed to complete payment, Sanctuary of Self is not required to honour a previous price for any future booking, training, session, or event.

11. Payment

Payment must be made through the approved payment methods listed on the Sanctuary of Self website, invoice, or checkout system. Payment may be processed through third-party platforms such as Squarespace, Stripe, PayPal, or another approved provider.Sanctuary of Self does not accept cash payment plans. Sanctuary of Self does not accept verbal payment plans.All payment arrangements must be formally agreed to in writing or accepted through an approved online checkout system. Any informal discussion, message, verbal comment, or casual arrangement does not constitute an approved payment plan or payment agreement.

12. Payment Plans

Where Sanctuary of Self offers a payment plan, the payment plan is provided in good faith. By entering into a payment plan, you agree to pay the full purchase amount. A payment plan is not a subscription, cancellation option, pay-as-you-go arrangement, or optional continuation of payment. It is an instalment agreement for the full amount owing. If your event, training, program, private session package, mentoring container, or service commences before your payment plan has been paid in full, you remain legally responsible for completing all payments. Attendance, access to materials, commencement of training, commencement of a program, use of resources, or withdrawal from the service does not cancel your payment obligation. If you choose not to attend, withdraw, change your mind, stop communicating, fail to book sessions, do not complete the training, or decide the offering is no longer suitable, you remain responsible for paying the full amount owing under your payment plan.

13. Failed, Late or Missed Payments

If a payment fails, is declined, or remains unpaid after the due date, Sanctuary of Self may contact you to update your payment method and recover the outstanding amount. If an amount remains unpaid, Sanctuary of Self may charge a $100 per month administration and recovery fee for each month the payment remains overdue. This fee is intended to cover reasonable administrative time, failed payment handling, follow-up communication, account management, and recovery steps. Sanctuary of Self may suspend access to any current or future services, events, trainings, programs, resources, recordings, materials, or community spaces until overdue amounts are paid. Sanctuary of Self may also cancel your participation in future sessions, events, trainings, or programs until your account is brought up to date. If payment remains outstanding, Sanctuary of Self reserves the right to refer the matter to a debt collection agency, solicitor, or court. You agree to pay all outstanding amounts, overdue instalments, monthly administration and recovery fees, and any reasonable costs incurred by Sanctuary of Self in recovering the debt, including debt collection fees, legal costs, court filing fees, and related recovery expenses where applicable.

14. Deposits

All deposits paid to Sanctuary of Self are strictly non-refundable. Deposits are used to secure your place, booking, event position, training space, session time, venue allocation, preparation, materials, and/or facilitator availability. Deposits are not refundable for change of mind, inability to attend, illness, personal circumstances, scheduling conflicts, relationship breakdowns, withdrawal, failure to complete payment, or failure to communicate. The only circumstance in which a deposit may be refunded is where Sanctuary of Self cancels the relevant event, training, or service and does not provide a suitable alternative, unless otherwise required by law.

15. Change of Mind

Sanctuary of Self does not offer refunds, credits, transfers, or exchanges for change of mind. This includes, but is not limited to, situations where you: change your mind after purchasing decide the offer, event, training, session, product, or program is no longer suitable are unable to attend/forget to attend/experience a change in personal circumstances/have a scheduling conflict/withdraw after purchase/decide not to continue after a program, training, session, or payment plan has commenced/decide you no longer wish to complete a payment plan. Please choose carefully before purchasing.

16. Events, Workshops and Trainings

All event, workshop and training purchases are final. No refunds will be given for change of mind, inability to attend, withdrawal, illness, personal circumstances, scheduling conflicts, relationship breakdowns, travel issues, or failure to complete the training. If Sanctuary of Self cancels an event, workshop, or training, you may be offered one of the following: a transfer to a future date, a credit towards another suitable Sanctuary of Self offering, a refund, where required or appropriate under Australian Consumer Law. If you are unable to attend an event, workshop, or training, you may request a transfer to another date.Transfers are not guaranteed and are subject to availability, timing, venue capacity, training requirements, teacher availability, and the discretion of Sanctuary of Self. Sanctuary of Self may refuse a transfer request where it is too close to the event date, where materials have already been prepared, where a venue or teacher has been secured, where the training has limited capacity, or where the request would cause loss or disruption to the business.

17. Cancellations by Sanctuary of Self

Sanctuary of Self reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, relocate, or modify events, trainings, sessions, programs, or services where necessary.This may occur due to facilitator illness, teacher availability, venue issues, low enrolment, safety concerns, operational needs, emergencies, natural disasters, extreme weather, government restrictions, or circumstances beyond our control.If Sanctuary of Self cancels an event, training, or service, we will offer a suitable alternative where possible.Where required under Australian Consumer Law, a refund or other remedy will be provided. Sanctuary of Self is not responsible for additional costs incurred by you, including travel, accommodation, time off work, childcare, or other personal expenses, unless required by law.

18. Private Sessions

Private sessions must be paid in full before the booking is confirmed, unless an approved online payment plan or written payment agreement has been accepted by Sanctuary of Self. If you need to reschedule a private session, you must provide at least 48 hours notice. If adequate notice is not provided, the session may be forfeited. If you are more than 10 minutes late to a session, the session may be cancelled or shortened at the discretion of Sanctuary of Self, and the full session fee may still apply. No-shows are non-refundable and may result in forfeiture of the session. Once a private session has commenced, no refund will be provided.

19. Session Packages and Mentoring Containers

Where you purchase a session package, mentoring container, or private program, you are committing to the package in full. You are responsible for booking, attending, and completing your sessions within the agreed timeframe. Session packages must be used within 6 months unless otherwise agreed in writing. Unused sessions are not refundable. If you pause, withdraw, stop communicating, fail to book your remaining sessions, or decide not to continue, the package remains non-refundable. Sanctuary of Self is not responsible for chasing clients to complete packages. If a payment plan has been entered into for a package, mentoring container, or private program, you remain responsible for completing the full payment plan, regardless of whether you attend or complete all sessions.

20. Digital Products and Online Resources

Digital products, downloadable resources, online programs, recordings, meditations, workbooks, course materials, and online resources are non-refundable once purchased or accessed. This includes accidental purchases, change of mind, failure to download, failure to view, failure to use the material, or deciding the resource is no longer suitable. Your purchase gives you personal use access only. You may not share, copy, reproduce, resell, distribute, teach, adapt, publish, upload, or use Sanctuary of Self digital products or resources for commercial purposes without written permission.

21. Memberships and Online Communities

Where Sanctuary of Self offers a membership or online community, the terms of that membership will be provided at the time of purchase. Unless otherwise stated, membership fees are billed according to the billing cycle selected at checkout. It is your responsibility to cancel your membership before the next billing date if you do not wish to continue. Sanctuary of Self does not provide refunds for unused membership time, missed content, non-participation, or failure to cancel before a renewal date, except where required by law. Sanctuary of Self reserves the right to remove a member from any online space, group, or community where they behave in a way that is unsafe, disrespectful, inappropriate, sexually explicit, harassing, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise harmful.

22. Physical Products

Sanctuary of Self may sell physical products, including but not limited to ceremonial cacao, yoni eggs, intimate wellness products, ritual items, books, tools, and related products. Please choose carefully before purchasing.Subject to your rights under Australian Consumer Law, Sanctuary of Self does not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges for change of mind.

23. Intimate Products

For hygiene, safety, and energetic integrity reasons, Sanctuary of Self does not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges on intimate products. This includes, but is not limited to: yoni eggs, intimate wellness products, body-based ritual items, opened personal care items, any product designed to be used on or near intimate areas. Please choose carefully before purchasing.

24. Ceremonial Cacao and Consumable Products

Sanctuary of Self does not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges on ceremonial cacao, food products, consumable items, opened products, or perishable items.This is due to health, safety, hygiene, storage, and quality control requirements.If you receive a faulty, damaged, or incorrect physical product, please contact Sanctuary of Self within 7 days of receiving your order.You must include your name, order number, photos of the product, and a description of the issue.Where required under Australian Consumer Law, Sanctuary of Self will provide an appropriate remedy.

25. Health, Safety and Suitability

You are responsible for disclosing any relevant health, mental health, trauma, pregnancy, injury, medical, emotional, psychological, or personal circumstances that may affect your participation. Sanctuary of Self reserves the right to refuse service, modify participation, recommend referral, or require medical or therapeutic clearance where appropriate. Participation in breathwork, movement, meditation, Tantra practices, embodiment work, energetic practices, personal development processes, and group exercises is voluntary. You are responsible for listening to your body, honouring your boundaries, and choosing what feels safe and appropriate for you. You agree not to participate in any practice that feels unsafe, unsuitable, or beyond your personal capacity.

26. Confidentiality

Sanctuary of Self respects client and participant confidentiality. You agree to respect the privacy and confidentiality of other participants in group programs, workshops, circles, events, trainings, retreats, or online spaces. You must not share another participant’s personal information, stories, images, videos, experiences, disclosures, or identity without their express consent. Confidentiality may be limited where disclosure is required by law, where there is a serious risk of harm to you or another person, where there is a safety concern, or where disclosure is necessary to obtain legal, insurance, debt recovery, or professional advice.

27. Group Spaces

If you participate in a group event, training, online circle, workshop, membership, or community space, you acknowledge that other participants may hear or see what you share. Sanctuary of Self asks all participants to respect confidentiality, but we cannot guarantee the actions of other participants. Please share only what feels appropriate in a group setting.

28. Recordings, Photos and Media

Some online sessions, trainings, workshops, or events may be recorded. By attending a recorded session, you consent to being recorded unless you advise Sanctuary of Self before the session begins. Recordings may be made available to participants or used internally for training and quality purposes. Sanctuary of Self will not publish your testimonial, image, video, name, or identifying information for marketing purposes without your consent. If you provide a testimonial or give consent to be photographed or filmed, you grant Sanctuary of Self permission to use that material for marketing, social media, website, educational, or promotional purposes.

29. Intellectual Property

All content created by Sanctuary of Self, including but not limited to workbooks, meditations, videos, recordings, teachings, frameworks, written materials, images, website copy, training materials, course materials, digital resources, and program content, remains the intellectual property of Sanctuary of Self unless otherwise stated. You may not copy, reproduce, share, resell, distribute, teach, adapt, publish, upload, or use Sanctuary of Self materials for commercial purposes without written permission. Purchasing a resource, program, training, membership, or event ticket gives you personal use access only.

30. Website Use

You agree not to use this website for any unlawful, harmful, abusive, fraudulent, misleading, or disruptive purpose. You must not attempt to hack, damage, interfere with, copy, scrape, or misuse the website or its content. You must not use this website or any Sanctuary of Self platform to send spam, upload malicious software, impersonate another person, or engage in conduct that may harm Sanctuary of Self or others.

31. Third-Party Platforms

Sanctuary of Self may use third-party platforms including, but not limited to, Squarespace, Stripe, PayPal, Zoom, Google, email marketing platforms, social media platforms, booking systems, payment processors, and online learning platforms.Sanctuary of Self is not responsible for the privacy practices, technical issues, outages, fees, policies, or terms of third-party providers. Your use of third-party platforms may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

32. Privacy

Sanctuary of Self may collect personal information from you in order to provide products, services, bookings, events, trainings, private sessions, payment plans, digital resources, and communications. This may include your name, email address, phone number, billing details, booking history, health information, wellbeing information, personal disclosures, intake form responses, payment information, and communication history. Some information you provide may be sensitive in nature, including information about your health, relationships, sexuality, trauma history, spiritual beliefs, emotional wellbeing, or personal development journey. Sanctuary of Self handles personal information with care and only uses it for purposes connected to providing services, managing bookings, processing payments, communicating with you, meeting legal obligations, recovering unpaid amounts, and protecting the safety and lawful interests of Sanctuary of Self and its clients. 33. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sanctuary of Self is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, emotional, personal, financial, spiritual, relational, or business loss arising from your use of our website, products, services, events, trainings, sessions, programs, payment plans, or materials. Nothing in these Terms excludes any rights that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

34. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Sanctuary of Self against any loss, damage, claim, cost, expense, or liability arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of our services or materials, your conduct, your failure to disclose relevant information, your failure to complete payment, or your violation of another person’s rights.

35. Refusal of Service

Sanctuary of Self reserves the right to refuse service, cancel a booking, terminate participation, or decline future engagement where we reasonably believe that working together is unsafe, unsuitable, inappropriate, outside our scope, or misaligned with the integrity of the service. This includes situations involving boundary violations, abusive communication, unsafe conduct, non-payment, repeated failed payments, inappropriate requests, harassment, or behaviour that compromises the wellbeing of Sanctuary of Self, its practitioners, teachers, facilitators, team members, or participants.

36. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.Any disputes will be handled in Queensland, Australia, unless otherwise required by law.

37. Changes to These Terms

Sanctuary of Self may update these Terms and Conditions at any time.The updated version will be published on this website with the updated date.Your continued use of the website, services, products, or offerings after changes are published means you accept the updated Terms and Conditions.
